Section Policies
Articles
The Articles section accepts original scholarly manuscripts within the journal's focus and scope. Submissions undergo initial editorial screening and, when suitable, peer review.
- Open Submissions: Authors may submit manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.
- Peer Reviewed: Eligible submissions are evaluated by reviewers with relevant expertise.
- Editorial Assessment: The editorial team assesses relevance, quality, originality, and compliance with journal requirements.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts may be rejected if they fall outside the journal's scope or fail to meet its academic and ethical requirements.
Peer Review Process
Jadila applies a blind peer-review process. Each eligible manuscript is evaluated by two reviewers with relevant subject expertise. The review process assesses originality, relevance, research quality, methodological appropriateness, and the contribution of the work to the field.
Initial Editorial Screening
The editor checks whether a manuscript fits the journal's scope and follows submission requirements. Manuscripts may be returned for technical revision or declined before external review.
Reviewer Evaluation
Reviewers may evaluate the following aspects:
- Originality and relevance of the manuscript.
- Research objectives and literature review.
- Appropriateness of the research methodology.
- Quality of analysis, results, and discussion.
- Accuracy of citations and references.
- Clarity and academic quality of the writing.
Editorial Decision
Based on the review reports, the editor may accept the manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or reject it. The final publication decision rests with the editorial team.
Review Timeline
The journal's published policy indicates that the review process usually takes approximately one month. Actual processing times may vary depending on reviewer availability, manuscript complexity, and revision requirements.
Publication Frequency
Jadila publishes four issues per year, scheduled for the following months:

Accepted manuscripts are prepared for publication after completing the required editorial and production processes.

More information about publication ethics is available from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) .
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy
This section provides proposed standards for the responsible use of generative artificial intelligence and AI-assisted tools in scholarly publishing. The journal should approve this policy before treating it as an official publication requirement.
Use of AI by Authors
- Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of submitted content.
- Substantive AI assistance in writing, analysis, translation, or research preparation should be disclosed.
- Authors must verify AI-generated facts, citations, references, and interpretations.
- AI tools must not be used to fabricate data or misrepresent research results.
- AI systems cannot be listed as authors because they cannot accept responsibility for scholarly work.
Use of AI by Reviewers and Editors
Reviewers and editors must protect the confidentiality of manuscripts and review reports. Unpublished manuscripts or confidential materials should not be uploaded to external AI systems unless the journal permits such use and appropriate confidentiality safeguards are in place.
AI-generated assessments must not replace independent scholarly judgment. Editors remain responsible for their editorial decisions.
Reviewers Guidelines
Reviewers help maintain the quality and integrity of Jadila. They are expected to provide timely, impartial, and constructive assessments of manuscripts within their expertise.
- Assess originality, relevance, research methods, evidence, and presentation.
- Provide clear and respectful comments supported by academic reasoning.
- Identify relevant omitted references where appropriate.
- Report possible plagiarism or other ethical concerns to the editor.
- Keep manuscripts and review materials confidential.
- Decline reviews where they lack relevant expertise or cannot provide an impartial assessment.

Jadila's journal information and indexing records can be accessed through the following platforms:
- SINTA: Jadila Journal Profile

- Dimensions: Jadila Publication Record
Retraction, Withdrawal, and Correction Policy
Jadila aims to maintain an accurate and reliable scholarly record. Corrections, withdrawals, or retractions may be considered when significant errors, ethical breaches, or other serious problems are identified.
Corrections
Corrections may be published when errors affect the accuracy or clarity of an article but do not invalidate its main findings or conclusions.
Withdrawal
Authors requesting withdrawal before publication should contact the editorial office and provide an explanation. Withdrawal requests do not automatically end an investigation into possible misconduct.
Retraction
Retraction may be considered where findings are unreliable, serious plagiarism is established, data have been fabricated or falsified, or other significant problems undermine the published record.
Editorial Procedure
The editorial team reviews the available evidence, may request explanations from the authors, and documents the rationale for its decision. Notices should clearly identify the affected article and explain the reason for the correction or retraction.
Plagiarism Policy
Jadila does not accept plagiarism. Submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism-detection software to identify possible overlap with existing publications or other sources.
The journal's published screening policy specifies a similarity score below 20 percent. Similarity results should be interpreted in context; a percentage alone does not establish whether plagiarism has occurred.
Authors must cite sources accurately and acknowledge quotations, paraphrases, data, images, and other material from third parties. Manuscripts with substantial unattributed overlap may be returned for clarification or rejected.
If serious problems are identified after publication, the journal may consider appropriate corrective action in accordance with its procedures.
Conflict of Interest Policy
Authors, reviewers, and editors should disclose circumstances that could reasonably be perceived as influencing research, evaluation, or editorial decisions.
Authors
Authors should disclose relevant financial and non-financial interests, funding sources, institutional relationships, or other circumstances that may influence their work.
Reviewers
Reviewers should inform the editor of relationships or competing interests that may prevent an impartial assessment. They should decline the review when impartiality cannot reasonably be maintained.
Editors
Editors should not handle manuscripts where a competing interest could affect impartiality. The manuscript may be reassigned to an independent editor.
Conflicts of interest should be evaluated and managed transparently. Their existence does not automatically require rejection of a manuscript.
Post-Publication Discussion Policy
Jadila supports responsible scholarly discussion after publication. Readers may raise evidence-based concerns about published articles, including their methodology, findings, interpretation, or research integrity.
Concerns should identify the article and explain the issue clearly, with supporting evidence where possible. The editorial team may request a response from the authors or consult independent experts.
Depending on the findings, the journal may consider publishing a response, correction, expression of concern, or retraction notice. Discussions should remain professional and focus on the scholarly content.
Ownership and Management Information
Jadila is published by Corolla Education Center Foundation. The journal publishes scholarly work related to language and literature education.
The editorial team is responsible for scholarly assessment, peer review, and publication decisions. The publisher supports journal operations and publication infrastructure while respecting editorial independence.
Editorial decisions should be based on relevance, scholarly merit, methodological quality, and ethical compliance.
Allegations of Research Misconduct Policy
Jadila takes allegations of research misconduct seriously. Concerns may involve plagiarism, fabrication or falsification of data, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, manipulated peer review, or other forms of unethical scholarly conduct.
The editorial team may request explanations, examine supporting documentation, consult independent experts, or contact an appropriate institution where warranted.
Possible actions depend on the nature of the concern and the available evidence. They may include clarification, revision, rejection, correction, an expression of concern, or retraction.
Individuals involved should be given an appropriate opportunity to respond before a decision is reached, where practicable.
Manuscript Types Policy
Jadila primarily considers research-based manuscripts relevant to language education, language teaching, literature, linguistics, and related areas within the journal's scope.
Original Research Articles
Original research articles should present a clear objective, appropriate methodology, transparent analysis, and findings that contribute to knowledge or educational practice.
Review Articles
Review manuscripts may be considered when they provide a clear purpose, a suitable approach to reviewing the literature, and a meaningful synthesis of relevant scholarship. Their suitability is subject to editorial assessment.
All manuscripts must comply with the journal's submission requirements, publication ethics standards, and applicable editorial review procedures.
